01 Rate Outlook
My read on rates, once a week.
Every Monday, short: what moved, why, what is on the calendar, and what I expect. It is my opinion, written by me, and it is not a rate quote. If you want a real number for your situation, that comes from an application, not a blog post.

How to read these. I write about direction and reasons, not numbers. I never post a rate figure unless it comes with the Annual Percentage Rate, the assumptions behind it, and an as-of date, because a rate without those is not useful and not honest. Rates change daily and your rate depends on your file.
Nothing here is a promise about where rates will go. It is one lender's read, and I will tell you when I was wrong.
Want a real number?
That takes an application.
About fifteen minutes, not a commitment, and I review it personally.
